Description: The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is hiring a Supervisory Physical Scientist (Firearm and Toolmark) for the new ATF Forensic Crime Gun Intelligence Laboratory (FCGIL) located on the Innovation Campus of Wichita State University in Wichita, KS.
Scheduled for completion in February of 2026, the FCGIL will specialize in high-throughput examination of crime gun related evidence including firearms and fired cartridge cases. ATF is seeking self-motivated, experienced leaders to assist in developing this state-of-the-art forensic science facility.
