Title: Criminalist II Lead Firearm and Tool Mark Examiner
Description: Join the Rhode Island State Crime Laboratory (RISCL), located at the University of Rhode Island (URI). The RISCL is currently seeking candidates for a Criminalist II Lead Firearm and Tool Mark Examiner position. This is a 35-hour per week position with bi-weekly pay days (26 pay periods per year).
This is a re-post of this position. The position has been re-classified from a pay grade 13 to a pay grade 15. The current yearly salary range is: $82,009 to $125,397. A cost-of-living increase of 3.25% will be applied to the salary beginning July 1, 2025. Salary range: $84,674 to $129,472.
Tuition waivers, available for the employee to the Ph.D. level and for their dependents to the Baccalaureate level, are offered at the University of Rhode Island (URI), at Rhode Island College (RIC), and at the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI).
